Behind the scenes of my handmade creative process
Welcome to the messy, magical reality behind Customised Treats. I’m Richa, and this is where I turn raw materials into pieces that hold a bit of my soul.
They say a mother can't run a business, but I'm here raising two babies: my child and my dream, Customised Treats. This is me at my stall, proud of what I've built.
Someone asked me what my favorite thing about myself is. I'm very 'mehnati' (hardworking). I truly enjoy my craft; it's my stress buster. This is the beautiful chaos behind every order.
I promise what I deliver. This is a glimpse of the rush at my exhibition stall. The energy and appreciation from my customers is what keeps me going.
Hi, I’m Richa, the face behind the brand. What started as a small idea has grown into a wonderful community. Welcome to my creative journey!
Officially in my "Aag lage lag jave" era. While everyone is shopping for Diwali, I'm busy crafting it with all my heart.
Mind your own work and hustle hard. A little glimpse of me focusing on my craft and creating handmade rakhis.
Let's work together! The process of creating handmade decor involves careful selection of materials and a whole lot of glue gun magic.
Thank you for the incredible support! My exhibition was a huge success because of all of you. See you at the next one!
Mark your calendars! Here's an announcement for my upcoming Diwali exhibition at the Crowne Plaza, Rohini. I can't wait to see you there.
About Handmade with Love: My Creative Process
Getting the details right matters as much as how the finished piece looks. Whether it is selecting the perfect Gota Patti for a door hanging or ensuring my reusable rangoli sets lay flat on your floor, I test every finish before it ships. If you need a specific color palette for your festive decor or a custom design for a gift hamper, let us chat—I can even show you the materials live on a video call to ensure you know exactly what you are getting.
People see the finished products—the vibrant bandhanwars, the mirror work, the sparkle of my reusable rangoli—but the real story is in the process. My dining table often looks like a beautiful riot of ribbons, mirrors, tassels, and glue guns. Being a mom and running a business means my creative hours are often stolen moments, but that is exactly where the magic happens. Every piece is born out of a specific need or an idea I am testing.
When I design a new festive hamper or a deity accessory, my focus is on longevity and utility. My rangoli sets, for instance, are designed to be reusable. I use rigid MDF or acrylic bases because they need to stay put on your floor, and I hand-paste every Kundan stone to ensure it lasts through many Diwalis. For my door hangings, I prioritize the base material—heavy-duty velvet or canvas—so they do not sag over time.
The beauty of being a direct-to-consumer maker in Delhi-NCR is that I do not have to guess what you like. We can talk about your requirements. Want a hamper that fits a specific budget? Let us figure it out. Need to see if the colors of a toran will match your home entrance? I am happy to get on a video call so you can see the texture and finish before you decide. Whether it is a small gift for a loved one or a bulk order for a festive event, I work with the same hustle and attention to detail. This is not mass-produced factory work; it is made-to-order, with all the warmth that comes with human hands.
