Unlike traditional salon coloring, my Pintura hand-painting technique is designed specifically for how your coils naturally bunch together. Because I don't use bleach to achieve these rich reds and berries, your hair stays hydrated and retains its original curl pattern. Why No-Bleach Matters for Curls

Bleach is notorious for breaking down hair bonds, which can loosen your curl pattern or leave your hair feeling dry and straw-like. When we aim for deep, warm tones like cherry cola, plum, or sun-kissed copper, we don't need to lift your hair to pale blonde. I use high-pigment professional dyes from Schwarzkopf and Wella that deposit rich color onto your natural base, ensuring your hair stays strong.

The Process

Every session begins with an assessment of your current hair health and porosity. Here is what you can expect during your visit:

• Consultation: We discuss your desired shade—whether you want a subtle tint or a bold, fiery red.
• Pintura Application: I hand-paint the color section by section. This technique ensures that your curls catch the light perfectly, creating dimension that looks great even as your hair grows out.
• Bond Protection: I include bonding agents like Olaplex or Smartbond in every mix to protect your hair's integrity during the chemical process.
• The Finish: Your session concludes with a sulfate-free cleanse, a hydrating deep condition, and my signature diffuse-drying method to set your curls.

Maintaining Your Color

Red and berry tones are beautiful but can fade faster than neutral shades. To keep your color looking fresh, I recommend washing with cold water, using sulfate-free shampoos, and avoiding excessive heat styling. At the end of your appointment, I'll walk you through a simple routine to maintain that 'just-left-the-salon' shine at home.
