I see protective styling as way more than just a fresh look. It's about giving your natural hair a break, letting it grow and thrive underneath. I focus on Afro braiding techniques that suit your hair’s vibe, whether you want bold box braids or something more subtle. If you’re in the mood for a colour switch - maybe silver or grey - I’m up for that too.

I won’t braid too tight. No pulling, no drama on your hairline. It’s all about keeping your curls safe and happy. Traction alopecia prevention is at the core of my work - I stick to styles that protect, not stress your roots. Braids are fab, but they need to come out after 6-8 weeks so your own hair can breathe.
How I Guide You
I’ll show you all the basics for looking after your braids:
- Wash your scalp and braids every week or two, go easy with the shampoo.
- Hydrate your scalp with light oils, and spritz your braids with water and leave-in.
- Night time? Always wrap with a silk scarf for braids or sleep on a silk pillowcase. Keeps frizz away, helps your style last.
- If you want to jazz things up - cuffs, beads, light mousse - no worries, just be gentle.
