I focus on creating seamless transitions between indoor and outdoor areas, often using sliding glass doors to connect a cozy interior living space to an open terrace, turning the whole setup into one large, flexible area perfect for parties or quiet movie nights.
When I approach a terrace or lounge makeover, my goal is to strip away the 'before' and build something that actually fits your lifestyle. Whether it is transforming a basic balcony into a relaxing terrace garden or turning a spare room into a high-energy family den, I lean on a few key elements to make it happen.
For outdoor zones, waterproofing is non-negotiable. I use durable, weather-resistant materials like chevron tiles or high-density artificial turf to create a clean, modern base that stands up to the Pune climate. I love adding a custom swing or rattan seating to make the space feel inviting rather than just a concrete slab. If the area allows, a bar counter with weather-proof storage or a vertical green wall can completely change the vibe, turning an unused corner into a social hub.
Inside the lounge, functionality takes center stage. I am a big believer in using every square foot, so I often design custom low-seating arrangements with hidden storage or integrate ceiling-mounted projectors to turn a standard living wall into a home theater.
