Adopting isn't just about the joyful homecoming photos you see here; it is the result of weeks of behavioral assessment, medical vetting, and counseling that happens before a rescue meets their potential family. Finding a forever home for our rescues is the reason we do what we do at CUPA. Many of the dogs and cats you see on this page came from difficult pasts—some were abandoned, others reactive, and many just scared of the world.
The Road to Adoption
When you see a 'Happy Tail' update, you're seeing the result of our process:
- Behavioral Assessment: We work with dogs like Piccolo or Kyro, who were once reactive or misunderstood, giving them the time to learn trust before they are ever put up for adoption.
- Matching: Adoption is not a first-come, first-served system. We interview adopters to understand their housing, lifestyle, and commitment levels. We want to make sure the dog's energy and the family's routine align.
- Medical Vetting: Every animal we adopt out is sterilized, vaccinated, and treated for parasites, ensuring they are healthy and ready to integrate into your home life in Bangalore.
