Adopt a Rescue Dog in Bangalore
Find your loyal companion among our rescues. Whether you're looking for a playful puppy or a gentle senior, our dogs are waiting to be part of your family.
URGENT APPEAL: Khushi, Jalebi, and Pyaari have nowhere to go. Our Trauma Centre is overflowing, and if these healthy, 3-month-old puppies aren't adopted, we'll have to release them back to the streets. They deserve a safe home.
This beautiful 3-4 year old German Shepherd was rescued with a tight metal chain cutting into her neck. Now fully recovered, she is energetic and healthy, and a crowded shelter is no place for her. She needs a home with space to run and play.
This is Albert, a 5-year-old Doberman with a gentle soul who adores people. He's fully trained and just wants a quiet home where he can be your one and only canine companion. We're trying to get him adopted with some funny lies, but the truth is he's a perfect gentleman.
Meet Shiro, a 3.5-year-old Spitz who loves sunbathing, long walks, and doing tricks. He takes a little time to bond but is incredibly loyal once he trusts you. He would thrive as the only dog in a loving home.
This is Jaanu, a 1.5-year-old Doberman who is full of life and energy despite being a cruelty confiscation case. She is incredibly friendly with people and would be a perfect fit for an experienced owner with an independent house.
We don't understand why Buck is still with us. This handsome Doberman is almost 4 years old and is looking for an experienced owner with an outdoor setting where he can explore. He has waited far too long for his second chance.
Kyro, our 2-year-old pitbull mix, is a high-energy boy who is incredibly friendly with humans. He needs to be the only animal in the house and requires an experienced handler who understands the breed. He's been returned twice and needs a final, loving home.
About this collection
Adopting from us isn't about picking a pet; it's about making a lifelong promise. We take our time with house checks and family counseling because we want this to be the last home these animals ever have to adjust to. We know their personalities inside out, from who loves belly rubs to who needs a quiet, independent house, and we work hard to ensure the match is right for both of you.
When you adopt a rescue, you are changing a life, but you are also gaining a devoted friend. Many of our dogs, like Albert or Sweety, have been with us for a long time, waiting for someone to look past the shelter walls and see their true character.
Our Adoption Process
We don't do 'quick' adoptions. We believe in getting it right.
- Application & Screening: We talk to you about your lifestyle, housing, and expectations to make sure you're ready for the commitment of a pet.
- The Meet & Greet: We encourage you to visit our centres in Sanjayanagara or Mylappanahalli to spend time with the dog. It’s important that you bond.
- House Check: This isn't to judge you; it's to ensure your home is safe, secure, and ready for a new family member.
- Paperwork: We formalize the adoption with a deed and transfer medical records, so you have everything you need for your pet's future.
Why Adopt from CUPA?
We see the hard side of animal welfare every day—cruelty, abandonment, and neglect. When you adopt, you aren't just getting a dog; you are freeing up a space at our Trauma Centre for another animal in desperate need. Whether you are looking for an energetic Lab mix who loves car rides or a senior dog who just wants a soft spot to nap, every one of our rescues is vaccinated, dewormed, and sterilized. You are saving a life, and in return, you get loyalty that money cannot buy.
Cupa
We’re the team behind CUPA. For 34 years, we’ve fought for Bangalore’s street animals, watching them transform once they finally feel safe. We spend every day with our rescues, learning their unique quirks and fears, so we can help you find the perfect match for your home.
