A curated look at my pattern testing work, from intricate made-to-measure garments to structured accessories, helping designers bring their creative visions to life with clear, actionable feedback.

As a pattern tester, my goal is to ensure the final garment fits exactly as the designer intended. For this stunning Olivia Top, I meticulously followed the made-to-measure instructions, focusing on the corset-style construction and ruched back to achieve a perfect, body-hugging silhouette. I provided detailed feedback on the shaping to help the designer perfect this beautiful pattern.

Testing a full dress pattern like the Sirena Dress requires attention to every detail, from the bust shaping to the overall drape. I provided feedback on the clarity of instructions for the intricate stitchwork and the process of sewing in beads, ensuring the final pattern is flawless. The result is a gorgeous, well-constructed piece that I was proud to model for the designer's launch.

The Agatha Dress was a wonderful opportunity to test a pattern with unique colorwork and construction, including bell sleeves and an open-back design. I carefully checked the instructions for the four-color stitch pattern and the made-to-measure fit, ensuring the final garment was both beautiful and structurally sound.

This Retro Sweater pattern test allowed me to dive into a classic granny square design with a modern twist. I focused on verifying the gauge and sizing for the bell sleeves and cropped body, providing the designer with clear photos that showcase the beautiful drape and fit of the final piece.

Pattern testing isn't just for wearables. For this intricate Lotus Bag, I assessed the clarity of the assembly instructions for the 3D petals and the sturdiness of the strap construction. My feedback helped the designer ensure that even beginner crocheters could successfully create this beautiful and functional accessory.

Working with delicate mohair yarn for the Vevitha Sweater was a fantastic challenge. My testing process focused on ensuring the pattern's stitch counts were accurate for such a fine-weight yarn and that the instructions for the balloon sleeves created the intended soft, airy effect.

The Maloi Skirt pattern was a joy to test due to its incredibly unique 3-in-1 design. I tested all variations, including this fun bubble skirt, providing feedback on the instructions for transforming the garment. This ensures that future makers can confidently create all three beautiful styles.

For the stylish Gaea Shrug, I tested the unique construction, including the integrated choker and color-blocked sleeves. I provided feedback on the pattern's clarity and sizing to ensure a comfortable and fashionable fit, resulting in a chic statement piece that was a pleasure to photograph.
