I bring tiny crochet characters and desk decor to life, balancing the precision of pattern testing with the joy of handmade art.

Amigurumi is a fun challenge for me, and I was delighted to test these Wedding Plums. I focused on the clarity of the instructions for the shaping and the small accessories like the top hat and flower, ensuring even a non-expert like me could create a cute result.

This Cute Mushroom was a no-sew amigurumi pattern test. I checked that the instructions for attaching the parts via crochet were clear and secure, resulting in a sturdy and adorable finished toy.

Taking photos of the finished piece in a natural setting helps bring the amigurumi to life. I provide a variety of styled shots for the designer to use.

The Heart Pot is a lovely little decor piece. I tested the pattern for the construction of the pot, the heart-shaped flower, and the assembly, ensuring it was a quick and satisfying project.

About Amigurumi & Decor

Amigurumi is a unique challenge because it requires precise shaping and sturdy assembly to look just right. When I test these patterns, I pay close attention to stitch counts and assembly instructions, ensuring the final toy is durable, expressive, and ready for your project launch.

My Approach to Amigurumi and Decor

While I am known for my made-to-measure wearables, I truly enjoy the shift to working on smaller, intricate pieces. Testing amigurumi patterns is a different kind of exercise, where the focus moves from drape and fit to structure, shaping, and character design.

For Designers: A Rigorous Testing Process

When you hire me to test your amigurumi or home decor pattern, I treat it as a technical audit. I look for:

  • Assembly Logic: Whether you are creating a plushie, a desk plant, or a hanging ornament, I verify that the assembly steps are clear and the pieces fit together as intended.
  • Stitch Consistency: I test your gauge and stitch count, which is crucial for plushies that need to be tight enough to hold stuffing without gaps.
  • Beginner Clarity: I flag steps that might confuse a newcomer, ensuring your final release is accessible to a wider audience.
  • Materials Audit: I provide feedback on yarn weight and fiber type recommendations, so your users get the best result.

For Buyers: Handmade Decor

If you are looking for something cute to spruce up your workspace or a thoughtful gift, I create custom crochet decor like my Heart Pots and plushies. Everything is handmade with high-quality Indian yarns. Since these are made to order, you can choose colors that fit your aesthetic or event theme.

Whether it is a no-sew mushroom or a custom desk buddy, I put the same heart into these small projects as I do into my larger garment patterns. If you have an idea for a custom piece, just let me know, and we can bring it to life.
