About A Day at the Academy
We do not believe in breaks just because it is monsoon season. Our Dombivli facility is built to handle the rain with fully covered indoor astro-turfs, so the training cycle never stops. You are not just coming here to bowl or bat; you are coming to put yourself in the fire. Whether it is refining your run-up on the dirt pitches or facing high-speed sidearm throw-downs in the nets, the environment here is designed to mirror the actual match pressure you will face at selection trials.
At Cricket Explained, the facility is a tool, not the end goal. We have set up both indoor rain-proof astro-turf nets and open outdoor pitches at St. Joseph’s to ensure your rhythm remains consistent regardless of the weather.
Why this setup matters: Most academies treat nets as a place to hit balls and look good. Here, we use simulation. We track your decision-making against match-grade SG balls, and when we run a fielding drill, it is about reflexes under fatigue, not just aesthetic form. If you can stay calm in our intense, loud, and pressured practice environment, the actual MCA or BCCI trial day feels like a walk in the park.
We don't coach to make you look good in the nets; we coach to make you perform when the scoreboard matters. You will see players from U12 to U23 pushing their limits, and the culture here is built on shared exhaustion and success.
