These opportunities do not just fall into our laps. Behind every photo of our boys standing with IPL legends or assisting at international matches is hours of dedicated net practice, video analysis, and rigorous fitness training on our turf wickets in R.K. Puram. We prepare our players to hold their own when they eventually step onto the big stage.
At BGN Cricket Academy, we believe exposure is the missing link for many talented youngsters. It is one thing to hit a ball in the nets, but quite another to bowl to a professional IPL batter or manage a responsibility during a World Cup match.
Our coaching team, led by myself and Sunny Gupta, focuses on 'Match Temperament'. We use smartphone video recording to correct stances, track progress on CricHeroes, and run our own T20 BGN Premier League to simulate real match pressure. This ensures that when our students get a shot at net bowling trials or state-level selections, they are not nervous, they are ready.
Our academy in R.K. Puram is more than a practice ground. It is where young players from diverse backgrounds, including those from our local government school, get access to the same quality of training and professional networks as kids from elite clubs.
