About Nurturing Young Talent
At BGN, we bridge the gap between passion and skill by letting our juniors play alongside seniors. We ensure even our 6-year-olds get time on the center wicket, not just in the nets, because understanding the pitch early is the best way to build confidence.
We run our academy in R.K. Puram with a simple philosophy: if you have the passion, we have the path. Our training is split by age and skill, ensuring no kid is left behind.
Our Training Approach
For our Junior Foundation (U-12) batch, we focus on the basics of stance, grip, and soft-ball catching drills. We use tennis balls on concrete wickets, which is perfect for building hand-eye coordination without the fear of injury. As kids move into our Senior Professional batches, we shift to leather balls on turf wickets. This is where we introduce video analysis to correct actions and use CricHeroes to track their match stats.
Building Character, Not Just Players
What makes us different is our commitment to the community. We provide free coaching to students from our local government school, creating a diverse group where children from all backgrounds learn teamwork. Seeing these kids compete with confidence against other academies is our biggest reward. We believe in tough training but always in a 'dostana' (friendly) environment.
Facilities
Our R.K. Puram ground is equipped with turf and concrete nets, and we have floodlights for night practice. Whether it is core strengthening with traditional 'dand' exercises or tactical match awareness, we cover the full spectrum. If you want your child to learn discipline alongside their cover drive, come join our next session.
BGN Cricket Academy
I am Tukeshwar Tokas, and I started this academy to ensure every talented kid gets a fair shot, regardless of their background. We are a family here, not just a training center. My team and I are hands-on, ensuring every child feels supported while they push their limits.
