Master the Art of Gift Wrapping
A beautifully wrapped gift is the best part of the present. Learn how to turn simple boxes into something stunning with our hands-on wrapping techniques.
A beautifully wrapped gift is a joy to give and receive. This is an example of the kind of stunning, professional-level gift wrapping you can learn in my workshops, complete with layered bows and festive details.
Here is another example of a classic gift wrap with a beautiful plaid Christmas bow. In my sessions, I teach you how to layer different ribbons to create a full, textured look that really elevates your present.
This is a fun ribbon-weaving technique I teach that creates a beautiful pattern right on the box. It's a simple trick that looks very impressive and is a great skill to learn for any occasion.
Watch as I put together a Christmas gift box, finishing it with a big, beautiful bow made from satin ribbon. Learning to tie the perfect bow is one of the most satisfying parts of my gift wrapping workshops.
The final touches are what make a gift feel personal. Here, I'm adding a crisp white ribbon and some festive embellishments to a window box, a technique that is great for showcasing the gift inside.
For a more rustic and natural look, I love using brown craft paper paired with earthy ribbons and botanical sprigs. These gifts are ready for Christmas delivery, showing how different materials can create a warm, festive feel.
This gift wrap features a charming mini wreath as the centerpiece. It's a creative alternative to a traditional bow and adds a lovely, handmade touch to your Christmas presents.
A closer look at the mini wreath gift wrapping style. I love combining textures like burlap ribbon with classic red and green to create something that feels both traditional and unique.
Gift wrapping can also be sleek and modern. This elegant silver paper with simple star accents is paired with my handmade tapered candles for a sophisticated and minimalist holiday gift.
About The Art of Gift Wrapping
In our workshops, we teach you the Japanese Kimono pleating style and how to hide your tape so it looks like magic. It is all about the little details that turn a simple parcel into something you are proud to hand over.
It is not just about the paper. Our sessions are designed for anyone who wants to turn a simple box into a piece of art. Whether you are a total beginner or just looking to improve your skills, we keep things small, with only six to ten participants per session. This ensures we can give everyone individual attention, especially when we are working on the trickier folds and pleats.
During our time together, we walk you through the classics, like the seamless box wrap, and then we dive into the Kimono pleating style. We also spend time on bow construction. We do not just tie a simple knot; we learn to layer textures, use wired ribbons, and build festive flower bows.
We host these pop-up workshops at partner spots like Hullabaloo in Juhu. We provide all the materials, from metallic paper to wax seals, so you just need to bring your excitement. We also make sure to keep the energy high with coffee and cookies. You leave with your own wrapped gifts and, more importantly, the confidence to wrap anything beautifully for your next event.
