Hand-Poured Scented Candles and Festive Wax Designs
From melting wax to the final pour, I handcraft eco-friendly candles for every season and mood.
Here’s a peek into my process for creating the Christmas tree candles. I melt the wax, pour it into the wooden molds, and then carefully package each one. It's a journey of love from my hands to your home.
Behind the scenes at my workspace, you can see the silicone molds I use for detailed shapes like pine trees and pinecones. I pour each candle by hand, creating batches of festive decor in different colors.
Just in time for the holidays, I love making these unique Christmas ornament candles. They come in festive red and green and are a really fun way to decorate your home or give as a special handmade gift.
My handmade bauble candles look wonderful as part of a festive display. Here they are styled with a beautifully wrapped gift, ready to bring some Christmas cheer.
Beyond novelty shapes, I also craft elegant tapered candles. Their simple, classic form is perfect for dinner parties or adding a touch of sophisticated ambiance to any room.
About Candle Making: From Wax to Wick
Getting the perfect detail on shapes like pinecones or lotus flowers relies entirely on temperature control during the pour. If the wax is too hot, it loses definition, and if it is too cool, it bubbles. I watch every pour like a hawk so that when you peel back the silicone mold, you get a clean, crisp shape every single time.
The Craft Behind the Pour
I treat every batch as a small project. Whether I am pouring soy wax into a Christmas tree mold or preparing beeswax for an aromatic tablet, the process remains slow and deliberate. I avoid large machinery because the small imperfections of handmade items are exactly what make them special.
Why Eco-Friendly Matters
I choose to work with soy and beeswax blends for a reason. These waxes burn cleaner and slower than standard paraffin options, meaning your candle lasts longer and leaves less soot in your room. I source my fragrances carefully, ensuring they are phthalate-free, so you can enjoy the scent without worrying about what is going into the air.
Customization for Your Home
Because I make these in small batches, I can play with details that bigger stores cannot. If you want a specific color for a festive centerpiece or a unique scent combination for a wedding favor, I can usually make it happen. My work is not about mass production; it is about creating a mood, whether that is the warmth of a Christmas bauble candle or the subtle fragrance of a botanical wax sachet hanging in your closet.
If you are interested in learning how to do this yourself, I also host regular workshops across Mumbai. We cover everything from wick centering to fragrance blending, and you get to take home your creations. It is a great way to disconnect from the screen and reconnect with your hands.
