A look at the science-based, force-free methods I use to help dogs in Bangalore and online find their calm and confidence through trust, not control.

This is what it's all about. Just four weeks before this video, little Mili would growl and bark if I came near her. Through patience and giving her the space to trust me on her own terms, we built a bond. This is the core of my work: no force, no intimidation, just building confidence and a happy relationship.

Resource guarding can be scary, but it often stems from fear. Here, I am teaching Ragi, a six-month-old puppy, that my hand means "giving," not "taking." We turn training into a fun exchange game, preventing possessive aggression before it starts and building a foundation of trust around valuable items.

Online training works, even for complex issues like reactivity. This is Oreo, who we worked with entirely online. His family learned to understand his triggers and build his confidence, transforming stressful walks into calm, enjoyable experiences. Your commitment is the key to success, no matter where you are.

Even high-energy working breeds like this Belgian Malinois can learn to be calm and polite without harsh methods. I was teaching Otoh to settle during meal prep, and he cleverly let me know my treats weren't good enough! I love when dogs feel comfortable enough to communicate; it's a true partnership.

This is Bunny, one of our online clients, enjoying her first-ever beach day in Dubai. Previously reactive towards other dogs, her family worked diligently to build her confidence. Now, she can enjoy her freedom and just be a dog. This is the life I want for every dog and their family.

Hi there, I am Nivedita. My journey into dog behavior modification started with my own fearful rescue dog. I believe in a partnership where I coach you to become the expert for your dog, using science-based, force-free methods to build a bond based on trust, not control.

I am passionate about reward-based training because I have seen the damage punitive methods can do. My first experience in this field involved choke chains and "alpha" theories, which broke dogs' spirits. That experience fuels my commitment to creating a safe, kind, and effective training path for you and your dog.

About this collection

You will notice that none of the dogs in these examples are wearing choke chains or shock collars. That is not by accident. Whether I am helping a puppy learn to exchange a toy or guiding a family through complex reactivity rehabilitation, my methods rely entirely on reward-based science. I am not here to turn your dog into an obedient robot, but to coach you to understand their emotions and build a relationship rooted in mutual trust.

My work is about bridging the gap between how a dog thinks and how we live with them. In these examples, you are seeing the result of consistent, step-by-step guidance rather than quick fixes.

Why Reward-Based Training?

Punishment might suppress behavior, but it doesn't teach your dog what to do instead. When I work on resource guarding, we play simple exchange games so the dog learns a human hand is a source of joy, not a threat. We are replacing fear with predictability.

Addressing the Root Cause

If a dog is aggressive or fearful, I do not just treat the symptom. We look at the triggers, the home environment, and the dog’s emotional history. For my online clients—who I have supported from Goa to Dubai—we use frame-by-frame video analysis to help handlers understand subtle body language signals that the naked eye often misses.

My Role as Your Coach

I am not just training your dog; I am a coach for you, the pet parent. During my sessions in Bangalore or via video calls, I teach you the mechanics of leash handling, the importance of neutrality, and how to read your dog's specific needs. If you are ready to invest the time in a slow, steady, and kind process, I can help you build the peaceful, confident home you want.
