Warm & Minimalist Interior Designs for Modern Indian Homes
We create homes that breathe. By blending clean lines with natural textures like teak and stone, we design spaces that feel uncluttered yet deeply familiar.
This living area in the Cocoon House is defined by its soaring double-height ceiling and a calm, neutral palette. We introduced warmth and personality with a large abstract painting in soft pinks, woven-texture furniture, and lush indoor plants, creating a space that feels both expansive and inviting.
We designed this open-plan space in the Cocoon House to connect the dining and living areas, creating a natural flow. The transition from veined marble to rustic terracotta flooring defines the zones, while the consistent use of light wood furniture and neutral tones ensures a cohesive, airy feel.
The dining area in Cocoon House is bright and welcoming, set against a backdrop of white marble floors and clean lines. We designed the space with a light wood dining set and a modern chandelier, while a traditional Phulkari artwork adds a touch of color and cultural heritage.
This home office in Cocoon House is a study in texture and light. We used fluted wood for the cabinetry and a pegboard-style backsplash, creating a tactile and organized workspace. The large window with wooden mullions allows natural light to flood the room, making it a calm and inspiring place to work.
This master bedroom in Cocoon House features a high, pitched ceiling that enhances the sense of space and tranquility. We kept the design minimal with a low-profile bed, natural wood flooring, and a colorful handwoven bedspread that adds a layer of texture and personality.
For this children's room in Cocoon House, we created a playful yet functional space with a custom bunk bed and integrated storage. The design uses a soft color palette with pops of yellow, while the cloud-shaped headboard and whimsical details spark imagination without creating clutter.
This bathroom in Cocoon House is a playful exploration of the De Stijl art movement, using a grid of white tiles as a canvas. We introduced bold blocks of primary colors like yellow, red, and blue to create a vibrant, graphic, and entirely unique washroom experience.
About this collection
When we design a home, we don't start with a catalog. We start with the light in your living room and the objects you have collected over the years. Whether it is integrating a family heirloom into a modern storage unit or choosing the right lime plaster for your bedroom walls, our process is about making a house feel like it has always belonged to you. We focus on natural materials like Kota stone and solid teak because they age beautifully, giving your home a sense of time and memory that mass-produced finishes simply cannot replicate.
Designing for Memory and Light
We believe a home should be a reflection of the people who live in it, not just the latest trends. In projects like our 'Cocoon House,' we focused on a central courtyard to bring natural light into the heart of the home, creating a space that feels expansive yet intimate. We balance this modern open-plan approach with a 'lived-in' warmth, ensuring the minimalism never feels cold or sterile.
Our Material Palette
We are obsessed with how a space feels to the touch. Our design language relies on a grounded material palette:
- Solid Wood & Rattan: Used for custom joinery and partitions, bringing a tactile warmth to living areas.
- Natural Stone: We utilize Kota stone, Indian White Marble, and Cast-in-situ Terrazzo for flooring that is both durable and aesthetically grounding.
- Lime Plaster: Applied to walls to provide a soft, breathable, and earthy texture that shifts with the light throughout the day.
Blending the Personal with the Modern
In our 'Relic House' project, we demonstrated how personal history anchors a space. By placing a client's traditional Pichwai painting alongside clean, contemporary furniture, we bridge the gap between Indian heritage and modern living. We don't discard your existing pieces; we weave them into the new narrative. From custom-fabricated workstations to vintage-inspired dining sets, every element is curated to make your home feel like a sanctuary rather than a showroom.
