Little Ones & First Milestones: Capturing Childhood Magic
From first smiles to first steps, I freeze the fleeting magic of your little one's earliest memories in studio or outdoor settings.
I believe in capturing the magic in everyday moments. For this mother and child portrait, we created a divine Krishna-themed setup in my studio, turning a simple photoshoot into a cherished memory filled with love and innocence.
Little Vedant's pre-birthday shoot at Kumar Resort in Lonavala was full of adventure. We captured his first steps by the water and the joy of his family celebrating this special time before he turned one.
Double the joy, double the fun. This outdoor shoot with one-year-old twins Prisha and Pratham was all about capturing their individual personalities and the beautiful connection they share as a family.
A first birthday shoot in a park allows for such natural and beautiful moments. We created a simple, elegant setup for this little princess, capturing her curiosity and smiles as her parents looked on with love.
A classic family portrait with a relaxed feel. This image from a studio session with Jiyansh and his parents shows the warmth and happiness of their family, a simple and timeless keepsake.
As part of our Krishna-themed baby shoot, we also capture beautiful portraits of the mother. Here, she is seen amidst the traditional setup, reflecting the devotion and joy of the occasion.
Celebrating Krishna Janmashtami with a special baby shoot is a wonderful tradition. This collage showcases some of our favorite little Krishnas, complete with peacock feathers and pots of butter, both in-studio and outdoors.
About this collection
When working with kids, my golden rule is patience first. We don't rush; if your little one needs a feed, a nap, or just a few minutes to get comfortable with the studio lights, we pause. I have found that the most genuine smiles happen when we follow the baby's rhythm rather than the clock.
Your Session, Your Way
Whether you want the controlled environment of my Kamothe studio or the natural, airy feel of an outdoor location, I adapt to what makes your child comfortable. I have worked in parks, resorts in Lonavala and Karjat, and quiet home settings.
Themed & Natural Portraits
I love incorporating themes that resonate with your family's story. If you are looking for a traditional Krishna-themed setup, I provide the props, peacock feathers, and flute to create that classic, divine look. For a more relaxed feel, we focus on natural light, simple props, and candid interactions. We keep props minimal so the focus remains entirely on your child’s expressions.
What I Include
Every milestone session includes:
- Flexibility: 2 to 3 hours of shoot time, allowing for costume changes and necessary breaks for feeding or soothing.
- Editing: 20 to 25 high-resolution, fully retouched images that maintain a natural look.
- Teaser Video: A short vertical video optimized for social media, capturing the behind-the-scenes magic.
Tips for a Great Shoot
- Timing: Schedule the session when your baby is usually well-rested and fed.
- Comfort: Bring your child’s favorite toy or comfort blanket; it helps them settle into a new environment quickly.
- Collaboration: I encourage parents to get involved. The best photos often come from the natural bond during playtime or quiet moments between you and your child.
