When I am shooting rituals at your home, my priority is the emotional angle, not just the setup. Traditional ceremonies often happen in tight spaces or involve elderly family members, so I use a low-profile, two-person team and wide-angle lenses to capture candid blessings and authentic family interactions without turning your living room into a film set.
Photography for our culture is about more than just documentation; it is about preserving the values and feelings of the day. When I cover a Gruhapravesh, a naming ceremony, or festivals like Makar Sankranti, I focus on the small details that make the occasion yours—the specific way the Havan fire flickers, the laughter during the traditional rituals, or the quiet moment of prayer.
My approach avoids the standard, stiff portrait style. Instead, I move around the ceremony to capture the natural flow of the event as it happens.
