Strength and Conditioning for Athletes
A strong body is an injury-proof body. I do not train for looks, I train for pure, explosive athletic performance.

This video shows a complete warm-up and cool-down routine, including dynamic stretches and core exercises, performed by our junior batch in a park.

About Strength, Conditioning & Warm-ups
You might think these warm-ups are just the boring part of training, but look closer at the drills in the gallery. They are the non-negotiable foundation of my system. Whether it is deep squats or dynamic stretches, this is how I ensure your body is actually ready for the intensity of high jumps or 1600m runs. You do not just want to look fit, you want to be injury-proof, and that only happens when you treat every basic movement like a mission.
Why conditioning is non-negotiable
Many aspirants focus only on the final jump or the sprint. That is a mistake. My coaching at Ramjas Sports Complex is built on a specific pyramid: you cannot have high-performance output if your base is weak. I use a mix of calisthenics, plyometrics, and mobility work to prepare your joints and muscles for the shock of landing and the strain of long-distance running.
The Arun Athletics Academy Method
My approach isn't textbook. It is what I learned in the Army and as a national medalist.
- Injury Prevention: We focus on ankle stability and core engagement to prevent the most common injuries I see in recruits.
- Functional Strength: We don't use heavy machines that isolate muscles. You will use your own body weight to build the kind of strength that actually helps you climb walls or sprint across a field.
- Dynamic Warm-ups: Every session starts with specific movements designed to wake up your nervous system. If you skip this, you are just waiting for a muscle tear.
Preparing for Exam Day
When you show up for a police or army recruitment test, you will be tired. Your muscles will be burning. My conditioning protocols include mock tests where we simulate that exact fatigue. By the time you reach the actual test, your body will have already been through the grind multiple times in my sessions. You will know exactly how your legs feel at the end of a 1600m run and how to push through it.
