Got weak shoulders? Not for long! This video demonstrates five effective exercises to build shoulder strength and stability for climbing, from scapular pull-ups to dumbbell presses. Follow these tips to prevent injuries and climb with more power.
Here are the basics of hangboarding to level up your finger strength. This video covers proper form, how to avoid common mistakes like full crimping, and a simple max hangs exercise. Remember to warm up properly and have at least six months of climbing experience before you start.
Slopers can be tricky, but we're here to help you master them. This tutorial breaks down how to grip slopers in four simple steps: engage your shoulders, keep your body low, use your thumb, and practice on different types of slopers.

Here are some essential tips for all climbers. This graphic series covers fundamental advice to help you improve your technique and climb more efficiently.
Climbing Tip #1: Climb with straight arms as much as possible. This technique helps you conserve energy by hanging on your bone structure rather than engaging your muscles constantly. It's a game-changer for endurance.
Climbing Tip #2: Place your toes consciously on footholds. Precise footwork is key to maintaining balance and generating power from your legs. Using the tip of your shoe allows for better pivoting and control.
About Level Up: Training, Techniques & Workshops
At Climb City, we don't believe in stale routes. Our team resets 15+ climbing problems every single week, meaning there is always a fresh challenge waiting for you on the wall. If you are struggling with a specific move or just want to refine your footwork, just ask our crew for the beta—we love nothing more than helping you finally stick that project.
Training Zone & Techniques
Climbing is as much about technique as it is about raw power. Our Training Zone, located right above the main area, is fully equipped with everything you need to build that foundation. From campus boards and TRX suspension trainers to fingerboards and weights, we have created a dedicated space for you to work on your grip strength, core stability, and upper body power.
We regularly post video tutorials on mastering slopers, executing dynos, and improving your footwork (heel hooks, smearing, and edging). But the best resource? Our instructors. When you are here, don't hesitate to ask us for tips. We break down the beta, show you the right body positioning, and help you understand how to conserve energy on the wall.
Lead Climbing Workshops
Ready to move from top-rope to lead climbing? We run intensive 6-session workshops designed to get you lead-certified. This course covers everything you need to manage risk: clipping techniques, rope work, managing dynamic falls, and anchor cleaning. It is a technical deep dive that tests you both physically and mentally, with instruction from our senior coaches.
Beginner Progression
If you are a total beginner, tension nahi (no worries). We offer an Introductory Crash Course that covers safety knots, basic movement, and gear usage in a 60-minute session. We also host specialized workshops for specific skills like warm-up routines to prevent injuries, and we always emphasize resting correctly between climbs.
No matter if you are training for outdoor granite trips to the Himalayas or just want to get better at your local Noida bouldering projects, we are here to support your climb.
