Candid Wedding Day Photography and Films
I don't just shoot weddings; I capture the real, messy, beautiful stuff that happens between the rituals. From the quiet anticipation to the wild baraat, I’m there for the moments you’ll actually want to remember.
A stunning bridal portrait by the sea in Goa. The bride's pink veil flowing in the wind against the water creates a breathtaking, ethereal image that is both grand and graceful.
The groom's grand entry with his baraat. Carried by his friends on a mirrored aisle, this shot is full of energy, style, and the celebratory spirit of a Goan wedding.
A beautiful close-up of the bride, Ashna. Her serene expression, combined with the delicate floral hair accessories and the soft Goan light, makes for a timeless and elegant bridal portrait.
A happy, sun-kissed portrait of the couple, Ashmit and Ashna. Their genuine smiles and the warm light create a feeling of pure joy and love on their wedding day in Goa.
A truly magical bridal entry. The bride appears through a cloud of smoke and bubbles, creating a dramatic and unforgettable moment as she walks towards the mandap.
A classic bridal portrait with a scenic view. The bride stands gracefully by the Goan seaside, her intricate lehenga on full display. This is a timeless shot that captures her elegance.
A moment of quiet anticipation. The bride, Sachi, sits gracefully before the ceremony begins, her elegance highlighted by the clean, white decor.
A beautiful portrait of the couple under a canopy of fairy lights. The bride's glance towards the camera adds a touch of connection, making it a magical and intimate shot.
The moment of union. Sachi and Aayush exchange varmalas amidst a shower of rose petals and smoke, creating a dramatic and celebratory photograph of this key wedding ritual.
A sweet and tender moment between the newlyweds. The bride resting her head on the groom's shoulder, surrounded by twinkling lights, is a perfect picture of love and comfort.
About The Wedding Day
I focus on what happens in the margins of your wedding day. While traditional stage shots are necessary for family albums, I am constantly watching for the unscripted reactions—the teary smile during a speech or a stolen glance during the ceremony. My aim is to make you feel like you are back in the room, reliving the energy of the day, rather than just flipping through stiff, posed portraits.
Whether it’s a beach wedding in Goa or an intimate ceremony in a Mumbai hotel, my approach remains the same: I stay in the background. My team and I are storytellers who believe that the most meaningful parts of your wedding aren't the ones staged for the camera.
We use a mix of candid and traditional styles. While we ensure we get those essential family group shots and stage photos, we spend most of our time capturing the raw emotion. I use high-end mirrorless gear with minimal lighting equipment to ensure we remain non-intrusive. During the ceremony, we use lapel mics to record actual vows and ambient sounds, which we then weave into a 15-to-35-minute narrative film.
What to expect
- The Rituals: We cover every step, from the Haldi mess to the Vidaai tears.
- The Gear: We shoot on Sony and Canon mirrorless cameras, keeping things quiet and candid.
- The Film: You get a documentary-style edit that tells the story of your day, not just a montage of clips.
- The Portraits: We make time for stylized couple portraits, but even then, we keep the movement natural.
If you have a specific venue in mind, like a resort in Udaipur or a rooftop in Powai, we come prepared to capture the space alongside the people. Just be there in the moment—bas wahan pe raho—and we will handle the rest.
