I shape these by hand using sturdy wire and soft, colorful yarn. Whether it's for a newborn nursery or a big kid's room, these personalized signs bring a cozy, cheerful touch to any wall.

A lovely knitted name sign for 'Avi' in a delicate light pink, finished with a sweet red heart. These custom wire names are a wonderful personalized gift for a baby shower or first birthday.

Here are two beautiful names, 'Arya' and 'Reya', ready to brighten up a room. I used vibrant magenta and deep violet yarns to make these custom name signs pop.

This video shows the process of wrapping the knitted yarn around the wire frame for the name 'Deepu'. It's a detailed process that ensures a neat and durable finish for your custom wall decor.

A gentle and beautiful name sign for 'Ayraa' in a soft light lavender. This piece shows how I carefully shape each letter from wire before covering it with a cozy knitted yarn.

For the little star 'Dhwanii', I created this bright pink name sign with a cheerful blue star and a tiny jingle bell inside. It's a playful piece of nursery decor that adds both color and sound.

A classic design for 'Shweta' in light pink, paired with a simple red heart. These handmade name signs are a heartfelt way to add a personal touch to any child's space.

A set of two names, 'Arya' and 'Reya', in bright pink and purple. These are perfect for siblings sharing a room or as matching decor for twins. Each name is handcrafted to be a unique piece of art.

About this collection

I don't use ready-made fonts. Each name is sketched and then carefully bent into a continuous script using durable 3.2mm aluminum wire, which I then encase in a soft, knitted cotton yarn tube. Because I make these by hand one-by-one, you can choose any color palette or even add a little motif—like a heart, star, or flower—to perfectly match your child's room theme.

Every piece starts with a simple length of wire. I bend it by hand to capture the fluidity of handwriting, ensuring each letter has that organic feel. Once the frame is ready, I use a knitting machine to create a smooth, continuous tube of cotton yarn—what many call an iCord—and thread it over the wire. This creates a soft, plush finish that is much friendlier than raw metal, making it perfect for nurseries and bedrooms.

These signs are lightweight, so you won't need heavy tools to put them up. A few strips of masking tape, a tiny nail, or fishing line are usually enough to secure them to a wall or door. From pastels for a baby's crib area to bold, bright colors for a toddler's playroom, the yarn choice is completely up to you. I love adding little extras like stars, hearts, or small floral motifs to the end of a name to give it that extra bit of personality.

They are a favorite for baby showers, first birthdays, or room reveals. If you aren't sure which color will pop against your wall, tell me your theme—whether it's ocean, jungle, or space—and I will help you pick a combination that ties everything together.
