About this collection
Each ornament starts with 3.2mm aluminium wire, which I hand-bend into your desired name or shape before encasing it in a soft, knitted cotton yarn tube. Whether it is a classic Christmas star or a personalized name sign, these pieces are crafted to be kept as lifelong mementos rather than just seasonal decorations.
How it’s made
I use a technique called tricotin (iCord) to cover the wire, giving every piece that distinct, soft, and textured look. Unlike mass-produced plastic baubles, these ornaments are tactile and completely unique. For holiday gifting, I often pair these with small jingle bells or satin bows to capture that festive spirit.
Customisation and Themes
You can request custom colours from my palette—pastels for a soft, dreamy look or classic red, green, and white for traditional Christmas decor. These are lightweight enough for any tree branch, but sturdy enough to be used as a room decoration or door hanger long after the holidays end. I have crafted these for everything from first Christmas trees to birthday return gifts where every child gets their own initial to cherish.
