About this collection
Whether you are a complete beginner or an experienced practitioner, our centre offers a space to explore Buddhist philosophy and meditation. We hold regular sessions at our Domlur centre and online, ensuring you can participate regardless of your location. You do not need any prior experience to walk through our doors and join our study groups or meditation circles.
Our centre is more than a study hall; it is a spiritual home where we explore the path of the Dharma together. We believe that meditation and study should be practical tools for navigating modern life, which is why our curriculum includes everything from foundational Lamrim courses on impermanence and karma to guided sessions on the nature of the mind.
We regularly host:
- Philosophy Courses: Structured learning on topics like Guru Devotion and Practical Buddhism, available in-person in Domlur or via Zoom.
- Community Rituals: Auspicious days like Losar and Saka Dawa are marked by pujas and sutra recitations, creating an environment to accumulate merit and reflect.
- Mindful Activities: Our Sunday nature walks at Cubbon Park allow us to integrate mindfulness into physical movement, followed by community breakfasts that help us connect outside the classroom setting.
All our programs are designed to be accessible. We rely on the generosity of our supporters to keep these teachings free or donation-based, ensuring that the path remains open to anyone with a sincere interest. We encourage you to join our WhatsApp group for updates on our latest schedules and student-led sessions. Whether you are curious about Tibetan chanting or looking for a quiet space for personal reflection, there is a place for you in our Dharma family.
