About The Tournament Experience
We handle the logistics so you can focus entirely on your game. Whether you are entering an U-15 junior event or an open rapid tournament, we provide computerized Swiss pairing, standard digital clocks, and strict FIDE-rule arbitration, ensuring a fair, competitive field that helps every player build their rating.
Our Tournament Formats
We organize events to suit different stages of your chess journey. Our tournament calendar is split into three main categories:
- Club Tournaments: Designed for first-time competitors. These events are held in friendly community spaces like Sunshine Library, featuring 4 to 5 rounds. We prioritize learning over rigid penalties, making it perfect for gaining confidence before moving to larger stages.
- Junior Age-Category Events: Strict grouping for U-7, U-9, U-11, and U-15 age buckets ensures fair competition. We maintain a parent-only waiting zone to keep the play area quiet and focused. Trophies are awarded to top performers, with dedicated prizes for girls.
- State-Affiliated Open Rapid: These are full-day events under the Karnataka State Chess Association (KSCA) banner. We use standard tournament-grade vinyl boards, weighted pieces, and 20-minute rapid time controls. These events are fully FIDE-rated, making them the right choice if you are chasing a national rating.
What You Can Expect
No matter the scale, our events follow the Swiss system, meaning you will compete in every round regardless of the score. We believe that playing against peers of similar strength is the fastest way to sharpen your tactics. When you arrive at our venues—be it our academy in Budigere Cross or a partner hall—you will find boards set up, clocks ready, and pairings projected on-screen. You just need to bring your game face.
