Welcome to our Land of Lilliput. Here, we transform solid blocks of Basswood and Lime wood into tiny, personality-filled memories that capture your favourite people and pets in 3D.
This is the official logo for my creative world, Land of Lilliput. It represents the small, whimsical, and detailed nature of the wooden figurines I lovingly create by hand.
I created Land of Lilliput as a dedicated space to share my passion for handcrafted wooden miniatures. This is my invitation for you to follow along and see the joy I find in carving these tiny treasures.
About Welcome to Land of Lilliput
Because we hand-carve every piece from solid wood without using machines, each figurine requires 15 to 20 days to complete. We spend hours focusing on the tiny details, like specific fabric textures, watch accessories, or a pet's unique fur pattern, to ensure your wooden mini truly reflects the person or memory you want to preserve.
At our studio, we believe a gift should do more than just sit on a shelf. It should tell a story. Land of Lilliput is the space we have built to house these tiny wooden treasures.
The Art of Hand-Carving
We do not believe in mass production. We work with Basswood and Lime wood because these materials are durable and perfect for intricate carving. When you order a figurine, we start from a single block of wood and carve it by hand. This traditional process allows us to capture the quirks that make a person unique, such as a signature smile or a favourite pose. After the carving is done, we hand-paint the piece using matte acrylics to replicate your outfits and skin tones before finishing it with a clear varnish.
Customization for Every Occasion
Whether you need a gift for a wedding, an anniversary, or a memorial for a pet, we work closely with the photos you provide. We generally need 3 to 4 clear images to understand the angles, outfits, and expressions. From there, we create a 12cm to 15cm statuette that brings your vision to life. For couples, we can carve figures that interact with each other, like holding hands or standing together on a shared wooden base.

While we are based in the heart of Kolkata, our wooden minis travel across India. Every piece is packed with care, using specialized dual-slot packaging to ensure the figurines reach you in perfect condition. We take pride in being a part of your celebrations, from birthdays in Delhi to anniversaries in Bangalore, and we are happy to ship our 'Lilliput' collection wherever you are.
