I do not just train dogs. I believe in honest conversations about responsible ownership and the power of giving rescue dogs a second chance.

A clip from my presentation at the WeWork "Adopt Don't Shop" event. I shared my personal story and busted common myths about adopting rescue dogs, showing how training can overcome behavioral challenges.

A short video montage from my first major speaking event. It was a huge step for me to get on a platform and advocate for adoption and the importance of hiring a professional trainer from day one.

About this collection

Many people ask me if adopted dogs are broken because of their past. That is a myth I bust every time I take the stage. Behavioural issues are not permanent damage, they are challenges we can manage with patience, consistency, and the right guidance. If you are considering adoption, do not let fear hold you back. Let's talk about the reality of bringing a rescue home and how we can work together to build that bond.

Why I Advocate for Adoption

Adoption is not just about bringing a dog home. It is about combating over-breeding and supporting a healthier ecosystem for pets in our city. When you choose to adopt, you give a second chance to a dog who likely has a lot of love to give, provided they are given the right structure.

Busting the Myths

I often hear, 'Are rescue dogs aggressive?' or 'Do they have health issues?'. The truth is, all dogs—whether bought or adopted—go through phases where their behaviour might change based on their circumstances.

  • Behavioural Challenges: These are manageable. With the right tools, consistent routines, and professional intervention, you can help a skittish or reactive dog become calm and confident.
  • Health Histories: A history of health issues does not mean they are uncurable. Often, it just requires dietary changes and dedicated care, just like I did with Duggu.

Training is a Daily Commitment

If you take one thing from my sessions, let it be this: training is not a five-day course or a quick fix. It is a daily routine that you must follow for your dog's lifetime. Whether you are bringing home a rescue or training your current pet, the work happens at home.

I am here to guide you through that process—not to do the work for you, but to teach you how to be the leader your dog needs.
