About Lakeside & Hillside Escapes
When we head out for these shoots, it is not just about finding a pretty backdrop. Whether we are by the lake or deep in the hills, the real goal is to get you comfortable enough to ignore the camera. You will not find us spending two hours on stiff, awkward poses here because the best shots usually happen when you are laughing at the hike, relaxing on a boat, or just catching your breath while enjoying the view.
Nature has a way of making people drop their guard, and that is exactly why I love shooting in places like Lonavala, the outskirts of Mumbai, or by a quiet lakeside. These locations give us the room to be cinematic without being dramatic.
Why nature shoots work
When you are outdoors, you are not worried about a studio wall. You are worried about the wind, the path, or getting to that perfect spot before the golden hour ends. This is where the magic happens. I am the one with the camera, usually cracking jokes or telling you to ignore me so I can get the real, unposed moments that matter.
Logistics and planning
- Travel: I cover travel up to 150km, so whether it is the hills of Lonavala or a lake nearby, we can make it happen.
- The Look: I love using drone shots for these locations to show just how small you are in that big, beautiful landscape.
- The Process: We plan the shoot for about 6 to 8 hours, giving us enough time to scout, set up, and just hang out.
