There's a special kind of calm that comes from getting your hands dirty. This is what my workshops are all about: a slow, mindful process where you can switch off and create your own living ecosystem. You don't need any experience, just a willingness to connect with nature.

What is a terrarium? It's a self-sustaining mini garden in a glass container. This image from a workshop shows two people collaborating on their creation, learning how these ecosystems mimic a natural environment with minimal care.

About Public Workshops in Delhi & Gurgaon
In these sessions, we focus on the architecture of a living jar. You will learn the science of substrate layering—why charcoal, sand, and soil need to sit in a specific order—to ensure your plants don't just survive, but thrive long after you leave the studio.
It is not just about the final glass jar; it is about the process of slow, mindful creation. During our 3-hour sessions, I guide you through the basics of building a closed terrarium, which is a self-sustaining environment that mimics a miniature forest. We use tropical favorites like Fittonias, Ferns, and live moss, selecting them specifically for their love of humidity and indoor resilience.
Most participants arrive worried they lack a green thumb, but I promise the main skill you need is actually restraint. Most plants die because of too much love, or as I like to say, adding thoda sa pani (a little bit of water) when they do not need it. We will cover the specific care tips for Delhi and Gurgaon weather to ensure your creation stays vibrant.
Whether you are coming alone to de-stress, on a creative date, or with a group of friends, the goal is simple. You walk in with an empty container and walk out with a thriving ecosystem you built yourself. All materials, from the tools and substrate layers to the plants and decorative miniatures, are provided. Just bring yourself and a willingness to get a little messy.
