In our workshops, we handle the logistics, so you can focus on the process. We provide every tool, from long tweezers and misters to fresh moss and hardy tropical plants. You will learn the science behind building a self-sustaining environment, including the proper layering of drainage and charcoal, so you can leave with a finished piece that you actually know how to maintain.
When I started ByTheLeaf, I wanted to create a space that felt less like a formal class and more like a retreat from the city grind. Most of our public sessions take place at partner cafes and studios across Delhi and Gurugram, making them a perfect weekend activity for friends or a unique way to meet new people. If you are joining us, expect to get your hands dirty. We guide you through the entire process, starting with the foundation layers—Leca drainage and activated charcoal for filtration—and moving up to selecting the foliage that fits your vision.
The most frequent question I get is about keeping plants alive. I spend a lot of time during these sessions debunking myths. We talk about why most plants suffer from too much attention, especially the common issue of overwatering. By the time you leave, you will have a miniature world that is ready to thrive with minimal effort.
We also bring this experience to corporate offices and private homes. For team engagements, we handle the entire setup, from protective floor covers to the final cleanup, allowing your team to bond over a creative, screen-free activity. Whether you are building a dense tropical setup or a minimalist Zen garden, the goal remains the same: helping you build a deeper connection with the nature you bring indoors.
