The Design Journey
- Whether you've sketched your own design or just have a vague idea, I'll help shape it with you.
- I usually suggest a silver base with 18k gold top for daily wear - it lasts and looks great.
- If you're after custom gemstone jewellery, I only use authentic stones. Fancy an African Ruby? It's beautiful and has special meaning for many.
- For rings you’ll wear daily, I recommend bezel setting. Bezel ma su che, mazbooti rahe che (bezel setting means it’s strong). So your ring stays safe, even with rough use.
- We discuss diamond options, accent stones, and what works for you.
What I Make
- For men: Rings and handmade kurta buttons are my forte. I also design button clips for kurtas, shirts, blazers.
- For ladies: From delicate earrings to statement pieces, each design is personal. Tear-shaped Ruby rings, classic pearls, gifts for anniversaries - we’ll make it special.
- For faith & family: Personalised family jewellery, including Takhti, Ayatul Kursi lockets, Aqeeq Taweez, and cute earrings for kids.

Assalamualaikum, I’m Dr. Hatim Motiwala from Burhani Jewellers. Thirty years in, this is more than a shop – it’s my family’s legacy. Got my doctorate in gemmology, so yeah, I know my rubies from my pearls. I love telling you why a ruby is lucky or why a bezel setting lasts.
