When making jewellery for children, the metal choice is my priority. I use 18k gold because it is soft on the skin and holds settings securely, ensuring there are no sharp edges to scratch or snag. These pieces are meant for daily wear, so I design them to be as sturdy as they are cute.

I exclusively use 18k gold for kids' jewellery. It offers the perfect balance of purity and durability. Because children are active, I avoid delicate, easily breakable chains. Instead, I reinforce the nakka (loop) or the prong settings so the jewellery stays intact during playtime.

Customisation is a big part of my work here in Bhendi Bazaar. If you have a specific theme in mind, like a favourite character or a symbolic motif, we can sketch it out together. I also ensure that all gemstones used in children's jewellery, like the rubies or emeralds you see in my gallery, are set low and flush to the gold to prevent catching.
