My Approach to Backdrop Design
I don’t work with flat, generic setups. Every piece I build involves layering materials to create a 3D effect. For a boho look, I combine wooden crates with dried palms, macrame, and soft fabrics. If you are aiming for modern elegance, I bring in metallic frames, circular arches, and neon signage to add that sharp, polished look.
What Goes Into Your Setup
- Structure: I use sturdy 8x8 ft frames as a base. This gives us enough height to stand out without overcrowding your venue.
- Florals & Foliage: I use a mix of high-quality artificial flowers and dried botanicals. They are durable, look real in photos, and stay fresh throughout the event, even if it runs long.
- Lighting: A backdrop is nothing without proper lighting. I integrate LED neon signs and warm fairy lights to make sure your photos pop, especially for evening events.
- Customization: Whether you need a specific name, age, or message on a chalkboard or custom neon sign, I handle the personalization so your photo booth feels like it was made specifically for you.
I travel across Bengaluru, Mumbai, and Goa for these setups. Whether you are transforming a small living room corner or a large banquet hall stage, the goal remains the same: a setting where you and your guests want to take photos all night.
