About Family & Group Portraits
Choosing between a studio or outdoor shoot often depends on the mood you want. My studio sessions are clean, bright, and focused on your expressions, while my outdoor shoots at places like Cubbon Park offer a relaxed, candid picnic vibe. Whatever you pick, I make sure we capture the genuine, unposed connections without any of the pressure of stiff, traditional photography.
I offer three main ways to capture your family, each designed for a different kind of memory.
Studio Sessions
For a clean, modern look, my studio sessions are perfect. I use bright white or grey backdrops to remove all distractions, keeping the focus entirely on your family's expressions. My Mini Studio Session is great for a quick 45 to 60 minute update, while the Signature Studio Package gives us 2.5 hours to move through 3 outfit changes and 2 distinct setups, including textured or festive backdrops.
Outdoor Golden Hour
If you prefer natural light and more movement, my Golden Hour Outdoor Session is the way to go. We can head to public parks like Cubbon Park or Lalbagh. I bring props like crates, blankets, and pillows to create a picnic-style setup that lets your kids play and interact naturally. These sessions are also perfect if you want to include family pets.
What to Expect
My goal is to capture the real stuff. You do not need to worry about forced smiles or stiff poses. I will guide you when needed, but the best photos usually happen when you are just hanging out, laughing, or cuddling together.
Practical Tips for Your Session
- Outfits: Keep it simple. Coordinated colors like denim, beige, or white work beautifully. You do not need to match perfectly, just stay comfortable.
- Timing: For maternity shoots, aim for 28 to 32 weeks. For families, try to schedule around nap times to ensure everyone is in a good mood.
- Preparation: I provide styling advice before our session, so we can plan your outfits and any specific props together.
I am certified in safety for younger children, so you can rest easy knowing your little ones are in good hands while we create these memories.
