Creative Art Classes for Kids and Teens in HSR Layout
At BrainArt Studio, we believe art is a language everyone can speak. Our space in HSR Layout is where children and teens explore creativity through hands-on learning, moving from traditional Indian folk art to modern painting techniques to build lasting confidence.
We believe creativity blooms when kids work together. Here, a group of our young artists, aged 6 to 8, proudly display the vibrant cityscapes they created, each piece a unique story of color, imagination, and teamwork.
Step inside for an evening at BrainArt Studio. This is where our 6 to 9-year-olds turn colors into stories and laughter into learning, exploring everything from sketching to painting in a fun, after-school escape.
There's nothing quite like the feeling of clay on the pottery wheel. This student is experiencing the magic firsthand, learning focus and control while shaping his very own masterpiece during one of our summer camp workshops.
At just six years old, our students are already exploring rich cultural art forms. This young artist proudly holds his detailed Saura tribal art piece, a style from Odisha that teaches storytelling through intricate patterns and shapes.
Art is about seeing things differently. In this class, our 10-year-old students learned about aerial perspective, light, and shadow by painting food from a top-down view, using acrylic blending to make their delicious creations pop.
For our littlest artists, it's all about sensory exploration. These two are showing off their colorful playdough creations, a fun activity that helps build fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and imagination.
Watch art come to life with this amazing Agamograph project. Our students learned how to create two images in one, revealing a different picture from every angle. It's a fantastic lesson in perspective and precision.
About this collection
What sets our studio apart is the technical depth we bring to every age group. Whether your child is mastering aerial perspective drawing or working with clay on a pottery wheel, we focus on skill development rather than just copying images. We keep our batches small, so every student receives the personal guidance needed to develop their own artistic voice in a space that celebrates the creative process.
We view art as a vital tool for cognitive growth. Our sessions are intentionally designed to move beyond simple crafts. We integrate art history—such as Impressionism and Indian folk traditions like Saura and Pichwai—with essential skills like color theory, the Rule of Thirds, and acrylic blending.
Our Age-Based Approach
- Ages 3.5-5 (Sensory Play): We practice "messy play" as a form of "smart play." Finger painting and playdough sculpting are structured to build fine motor skills, coordination, and patience.
- Ages 5-8 (Foundations): Students are introduced to the building blocks of art, including line, shape, and introductory painting techniques. We focus on observing the world around us and translating it onto paper.
- Ages 8-13 (Visual Arts): This course shifts toward technical proficiency. Students work on canvases, exploring mediums like charcoal, pen and ink, and complex compositions. We focus on concepts like light, shadow, and perspective to help students build a strong portfolio.
Why HSR Layout Families Choose Us
We provide a safe space for students to experiment without the fear of making mistakes. Because we limit our batch sizes to 4–8 students, we can track individual progress, ensuring beginners get the foundational support they need while hobbyists find the freedom to innovate. If you want your child to learn how to think creatively, we invite you to step into our studio.
BrainArt Studio
I am the founder of BrainArt Studio, and I believe every child has a unique vision waiting to be expressed. My goal is to create a space where students feel encouraged to take risks, learn the history behind the brushstrokes, and truly own their creative journey.
