Summer Camps & Festive Workshops in Jakkur
At BOB, holidays aren't just breaks—they're festivals of learning. From our action-packed Summer Habba to special cultural celebrations, we turn every school break into an adventure with stories, art, and hands-on fun.
A throwback to Day 1 of our HI5 Summer Program, celebrating Indian culture. Kids explored folktales, dance forms, and even tried block printing on tote bags to take home.
Rewinding memories of our Africa-themed summer camp day. The walls of our space reverberated with safari songs and percussions from a drum circle, along with folktales and mask-making.
Konnichiwa! A look at our day in Japan during our summer week, where we celebrated with a folktale, origami, kimono-inspired art, and even Ikebana (flower arrangement).
A 30-second recap of our day exploring exquisite Arabian culture. The session included a "Hummus Story," a tale of Ali Cojah, and beautiful Arabian art forms, making recipes and culture fun.
Day 5 of our summer camp took us to Latin America. We tangoed our way through a football jersey game, a Panama folktale, and two beautiful art forms celebrating Amazonian beauty and Frida Kahlo.
A glimpse into our Kathalaya Week summer camp, where stories created a world we didn't want to leave. It was a week of learning, happiness, friendships, and culture, all woven through magical tales.
Day 4 of Kathalaya Week was all about thieves, buntings, and bravery. The kids were so engaged in the narrative storytelling that the buntings they made are still part of our decor.
Celebrating Vasant Panchami and welcoming spring with stories from Indic mythology. Our space was full of yellow, as kids and adults immersed themselves in tales, songs, and a festive craft.
A "Golden Ticket" invitation to our Chocolate Day celebration. The event included hands-on chocolate making and a whimsical "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" story time for our little Oompa Loompas.
A poster for our Vasant Panchami special, welcoming spring with magical tales from Indian mythology. Participants came dressed in yellow to learn a song, do a dance, and take home a treasure trove of stories.
About Summer Camps & Holiday Specials
When school is out, our Jakkur studio transforms into a creative playground where we move away from screens and dive deep into themes like world cultures, STEM, or local harvest traditions. Whether it is a week-long summer camp or a special festive workshop, every session is designed so your child takes home a finished project—a painted tote, a clay model, or a new story to tell.
Learning That Feels Like a Festival
Our seasonal camps and holiday workshops are built on a simple premise: learning should feel like a celebration. Instead of rigid classroom setups, we use the school holidays to explore the world through storytelling, art, and hands-on making.
Why Our Camps Are Different
We do not just do 'activities.' We create immersive experiences. During our Summer Habba, we have taken kids on cultural journeys—exploring Latin American art, drumming to African beats, or understanding Japanese origami—all within our Jakkur studio. Every workshop is led by local artists, authors, and educators, ensuring kids connect with real experts.

- Language & Stories: We weave in bilingual storytelling (English/Kannada/Hindi) to keep roots strong while having fun.

Bond Over Bindings
I am Neha, and I started BOB because I wanted a space in Jakkur where books and creativity collide. During our camps, you will find me, my team, and local artists running wild with the kids—painting, building, and storytelling until we are all exhausted and happy.
Looking for a different kind of activity?
We have plenty of other ways to keep your little ones creative.
