Wedding Guest Journey: Entrances, Lounges & Dining
A celebration is a journey, and your guests are the travelers. We design spaces that move people, from the first greeting at the gate to the lounge where stories are shared over chai.
We call this a pre-party runway. A dramatic entrance tunnel with golden geometric walls, a grand chandelier, and a carpet of white florals leading guests to the Sangeet.
The majestic entrance to the Bangalore Palace, where we added our own touch of magic with sculptural floral installations to welcome guests to the 'Blue Palace' reception.
A whimsical pathway lined with glowing tulip-shaped lights leads guests through a brick archway into the main event space.
Another view of the entrance walkway, this time flanked by modern, geometric glass installations that reflect the light and add a contemporary touch.
A romantic entrance for a garden wedding, with a floral-draped archway and hanging chandeliers creating a soft and inviting passage for guests.
A stunning floral arch of vibrant bougainvillea and hanging jasmine tassels creates a breathtaking welcome for a traditional Haldi ceremony.
The complete entrance vignette, with the lush floral arch flanked by traditional brass pots and arrangements of tuberoses and bananas.
About this collection
When guests walk through your gate, they aren't just entering a venue, they are stepping into your story. We don't believe in generic doorways. Whether it is a tunnel of light at a Sangeet or a traditional jasmine-clad archway, our entrances are designed to shift a guest's mood the moment they arrive. We treat these transition spaces with the same creative intensity as the mandap, ensuring that from the first step to the final lounge corner, the flow of your wedding feels intentional, fluid, and entirely yours.
Beyond the Mandap: Shaping the Guest Experience
Most people focus on the stage, but we know the real magic happens in the spaces between. How your guests navigate your shaadi defines the tempo of the evening.
The Entrance: Setting the Tone
Your entrance is the first handshake between you and your guests. It needs to build anticipation. We move away from the standard velvet rope or floral banner. We look at the architecture of the venue—whether it is the sprawling lawns of a resort or the classic pillars of a heritage property—and we amplify it. At places like the Bangalore Palace, we integrate lighting and structural frames that feel like they belong to the venue while adding that specific spark of drama that says, 'You have arrived.'
Lounge Pockets: Where Conversations Happen
We design lounges that aren't just places to sit, but places to linger. We prioritize 'conversation pockets'—arrangements of plush sofas, ottomans, and accent tables that encourage people to sit back and stay a while. By using textures like teal velvet or patterns that match your theme, we turn a functional seating area into an extension of your event's design.
The Dining Flow
Dining setups should feel like a feast at home, not a hotel buffet. We focus on the details that make guests feel cherished: running floral centerpieces that don't block the person sitting opposite them, ambient lighting that warms the food display, and furniture layouts that prevent bottlenecks. Whether it is a rustic garden dinner or a formal indoor banquet, we ensure the layout supports the mood, allowing for the natural flow of masti and laughter.
We handle everything from the conceptual 3D mood boards to the final execution on the day. If you want a wedding where guests feel like they are moving through a story rather than just walking through an event, let's talk.
Sneha & Shahil
We are Sneha and Shahil. We have been designing spaces since 2008, but we still get a thrill from that moment a guest walks into a room and stops to look around. We don't just fill space with props; we build environments that invite your family to slow down, talk, and really enjoy the shaadi.
