About this collection

You won't find any 'gymtimidation' here. Whether it's our Saturday runs at Cubbon Park that end with breakfast or our high-adrenaline Treadmill League relays, the focus is always on the energy of the group, not just the output of the individual. Our coaches are there to make sure you're moving right, but the real work happens because you're surrounded by a crew that actually makes you want to show up again tomorrow.

We’re a Crew, Not Just a Gym

We started BlackBx because we were tired of the typical, isolating gym experience. You aren't just a number on a treadmill here; you’re part of a team. We focus on structured, coach-led training, but we know that consistency only comes when you actually enjoy where you are and who you’re with.

More Than Just Sweat

Our community is built on the belief that fitness should be fun and social. That’s why we take the energy outside the studio:

  • BlackBx Runners Club: We host coached group runs at Cubbon Park. We provide the pacing, the warm-ups, and the route support. You provide the effort. We always wrap it up with coffee and breakfast at a partner cafe to keep the conversation going.
  • The Treadmill League: This is where we bring the studio energy to the next level. It’s a team relay event—three people, one treadmill, 21km. It’s loud, it’s fast, and the community support is immediate. You’ll have a live DJ and the rest of the members cheering for your split times.

Whether you are a beginner looking for your first session or someone seasoned looking to hit a new personal best, we have a spot for you. We run over 50 coach-led classes every week—from strength training and HYROX prep to our Flex Flow recovery sessions. We treat recovery just as seriously as output because we know that progress is a marathon, not a sprint. If you’re looking for structure, purpose, and a group that actually gets it, you’ll fit right in.
