About Featured
When you train here, bring your own Gi and protective gear. Our sessions are not just casual drop-in classes, they are three-hour deep dives. We spend two hours on technical mechanics like guard retention and sensitivity drills, followed by 45 minutes of controlled flow rolling and a short Zazen meditation to clear your head.
Our Approach to Training
This isn't about collecting belts or winning trophies. At BJJ India, we view the mat as a place to face yourself. When you join a masterclass, you are stepping into a space where ego is left at the door. Our sessions in Malviya Nagar are designed for those who want to understand the 'why' behind the movement.
What to Expect
We balance the physical with the mental. A typical session includes:
- Technical Modules: Focusing on precise mechanics such as guard retention, gi chokes, and connection, ensuring you understand the physics, not just the motion.
- Controlled Sparring: We use 'Flow Rolling' to allow students to apply concepts against resisting opponents without the high risk of injury.
- The Inner Game: We end with 15 minutes of Zazen meditation, bridging the gap between martial arts and mental clarity.
