About Hennur Bamboo Ultra: The Trail Experience
The course is a 10K flat loop, which means you are never far from support or your crew. You will be navigating dirt paths under the bamboo canopy, and yes, you might actually spot a peacock while you are pushing through your laps.
Run the Loop, Master the Distance
Unlike point-to-point road races, the Hennur Bamboo Ultra is designed as a loop-based trail course. This format is perfect for strategy. If you are training for endurance, it allows you to refine your pacing and hydration needs every 10 kilometers. You pass the same aid stations frequently, which helps mentally break down 50K, 100K, or 220K distances into manageable chunks.
What to Expect on Course
- Terrain: Flat, natural trail paths winding through dense bamboo forests in Bengaluru. It is accessible for beginners but demanding enough to test seasoned ultra-runners.
- Support: We manage the logistics so you can focus on the run. Our aid stations are stocked with hydration, bananas, glucose, and electrolyte drinks. For the longer 100K+ categories, we include hot meals and resting tents.
- Timing: Every distance from 10K upwards is chip-timed, so your personal best is official.
