Our owl-themed pen holders are a popular choice for office and home decor. Available in a variety of rich, organic colors, they add a touch of handcrafted charm to any desk. Each piece is turned from a single block of wood.
A collection of traditional village-themed dolls in various stages of completion. These figures, representing rural life, are a classic example of Channapatna's storytelling through craft, often collected for display during festivals.
These minimalist dolls represent a traditional Indian couple. Their simple, elegant design and clean lines showcase a modern aesthetic while being crafted with the same authentic techniques and natural materials.
A closer look at our owl pen holders, nestled in a pile of wood shavings. This view highlights the glossy lacquer finish, which is achieved using a unique friction polishing method with pandanus leaves.
These cheerful, smiling sun discs are components for a larger toy. The bright, happy faces are painted by hand, and the vibrant red is derived from natural pigments, making them completely safe for children.

About Our Handcrafted Collection
Every piece here is finished with a unique friction polishing technique. We press actual dried screw pine leaves against the spinning wood on our lathes, which is how we achieve that signature glossy, lacquer-like shine without using any synthetic varnishes or chemicals.
Our work is rooted in the 7-stage manufacturing process that has defined Channapatna for over two centuries. We start with 'Aale mara' (Ivory wood), which is naturally soft yet durable. Unlike mass-produced items, each of our pieces is hand-turned by our community of 500 artisans.
We prioritize child safety and environmental impact, which is why we strictly use organic vegetable dyes for all our coloring. You will notice the rich reds, yellows, and greens in our collection come directly from plant-based pigments. Whether you are looking at our owl-themed pen holders for your desk or our traditional village-themed dolls for your home, you are holding a product that supports a direct, no-middleman supply chain.
If you are near the Bangalore-Mysore highway, you are welcome to visit our production floor. You can see the raw wood being shaped, watch the natural lacquering process, and browse the full showroom inventory at factory prices. We keep our workshop doors open to show exactly how these traditional skills are kept alive.
