About The Thrill of Competition
Competitive shooting is as much about mental composure as it is about technique. When we prepare students for state-level events, we replicate match pressure inside our Hulimavu facility using electronic target systems, so the competition floor feels like home rather than an intimidating, high-stakes arena.
Transitioning from hobbyist to competitor requires a specific kind of conditioning. At Best Shot Shooting Sport Academy, we don't just teach students how to aim; we teach them how to handle the silence and the clock.
Preparing for the Podium
Our competitive coaching goes beyond standard practice sessions. We focus on:
- Match Simulation: We use electronic target systems to track grouping analysis, forcing students to make real-time adjustments under simulated match time constraints.
- Mental Conditioning: Shooting is a sport of nerves. Through integrated yoga and breathing drills, we help our athletes lower their heart rates and maintain focus during long-duration competitions.
- Field Experience: We conduct regular pre-event training sessions at larger facilities like the SAI (Sports Authority of India) range. This exposure helps our shooters get comfortable with different lighting conditions and acoustic environments they will encounter at official tournaments.

We host the 'Best Shot Open Shooting Competition' right here in Bengaluru. This event serves as a critical stepping stone, allowing our students to test their skills in front of officials and peers before stepping onto the state or national circuit. We have seen our students rise from beginners to medalists at Khelo India and state-level meets.
