About Modern French & Ombré
Getting that perfect French line is not just about the paint, it is about the prep. Because we use a dry e-file technique to clear the cuticles completely, there is no messy skin overlapping your nail plate. This creates a wider, cleaner canvas, which is why our white tips look so crisp and our ombré fades look so smooth.
When you walk out of our studio, we want your manicure to look as sharp a week later as it did on day one. A French or ombré design is unforgiving, as any imperfection in the cuticle prep or the gradient will show. That is exactly why we insist on the Russian dry manicure method. By using specialized drill bits to remove dead skin without water, we expose the entire nail plate. This gives us the space to place your polish exactly where it needs to be, right up to the cuticle line.
You are not limited to the standard white tip. We have been loving the micro-French for a minimal look, or swapping the white for neon, black, or chrome tips for something bolder. For ombré, our artists take time to blend the gel perfectly, so you do not get that harsh transition line, just a soft, seamless glow from your natural base to the tip.
Choosing the right shape is half the battle for these styles. If you have shorter nails, a soft square or rounded edge works best for a classic French. For longer, almond, or coffin shapes, we can do a deeper smile line to really elongate your fingers.
