This ensures your transition from pink to white is glass-smooth, stays thin at the cuticle, and doesn't chip, unlike the thick, textured layers often caused by sponge-dabbed applications.
Why I Skip the Airbrush
Many people think you need an airbrush, sponges, or acrylic powder to get a good ombré. The truth? Those methods often lead to uneven texture and premature chipping. I prefer a manual blend using an ombré brush and thin layers of builder gel or gel polish. It takes longer and requires more control, but the result is a clean, 'photoshopped' finish that lasts 3–4 weeks without lifting.

- Precision: Every French line I paint is hand-drawn to match your natural nail shape, whether it is almond, coffin, or square.
- Durability: I start with my signature Russian Manicure base prep. By cleaning the cuticle area thoroughly with an e-file, we eliminate dead skin, allowing the polish to sit flush against the nail bed. This means no visible 'step' or gap when your nails grow out.
What to Expect
These aren't 30-minute quick-fixes. Achieving a flawless, non-streaky gradient requires patience. I spend time mapping out the transition so it looks natural, not harsh. If you have bitten nails or a damaged nail bed, I use a builder gel overlay (BIAB) first to create the perfect canvas before adding the ombré art.
If you have a reference picture, bring it. I don't follow generic templates—I adjust the opacity and the fade-point based on your finger length and skin tone.
