Behind the Scenes at Bangalore Writers Workshop

Writing is rarely a solo endeavor at BWW. While we focus on serious craft, we also spend significant time on how we present that craft to the world. Our recent visual updates, managed by our design intern, reflect a shift in how we engage with new members. We want our materials to feel as modern as the stories our writers are currently drafting.

We are currently focused on our Characterization and the Collective Unconscious course, which takes a deeper look at human behavior through Jungian theory. It is a departure from standard writing workshops, as we prioritize clinical insights alongside narrative structure. Students at our Indiranagar space often find that this blend changes not just their manuscripts, but how they observe the people around them.

Whether it is through our Sunday sessions or our community picnics, we keep our doors open for writers who are looking for more than just a class. Our community is built on accountability, helping those who struggle with being serial first drafters to finally complete their projects. We keep our group sizes intimate to ensure that feedback remains constructive and that every member feels part of a growing, creative family.
