About On the Pitch: Trial Day Action
When you step onto the pitch for our trials, we don’t just watch your footwork. You’ll be assessed on game intelligence through small-sided games and full-pitch simulations, all under the eyes of our UEFA and AFC licensed staff. Whether you’re aiming for our youth squads or the Senior Division, every player is assigned a bib number so our scouts can track individual decisions during transitions and defensive duels.
What to Expect on Trial Day
We run high-intensity sessions designed to push you. For youth trials (U12-U18), expect two hours of technical drills including passing squares and dribbling grids, followed by conditioned practice matches where we test how you read the game.
For Senior Division (18+) candidates, we step up the intensity. We conduct physical screening—often including fitness tests—alongside 11v11 match simulations. We aren't looking for finished products; we are looking for players who can execute under pressure, maintain positional discipline, and fight for every ball.
Our Scouting Criteria
Our UEFA and AFC licensed coaches look for specific traits:
- Technical Proficiency: Ball control and passing accuracy under fatigue.
- Game Intelligence: Decision-making during transitions (attack to defense and vice versa).
- Mental Toughness: How you react to mistakes or challenging match situations.
- Fitness: Agility and endurance levels appropriate for the division you are trialing for.
The Pathway
Once the trial concludes, you will receive a decision within 48 to 72 hours. Success can lead to several outcomes: a spot in our competitive youth squad, an invitation to our Elite U19/U21 groups, or even a professional contract for our Senior KSFA Super Division team. Please bring your Aadhar Card and Birth Certificate; we strictly verify age to ensure a level playing field for everyone.
