About Elegant Floral & Drip Cakes
When you order a floral or drip cake, I bake the sponge fresh the morning of your delivery to ensure maximum softness. Because I use a light whipped cream or buttercream base, these cakes are best served at room temperature. If you are planning a grand party, I recommend booking at least 3 to 4 days in advance so I can properly cure the fondant accents and ensure the gold drip sets perfectly.
I love the artistic freedom that floral and drip cakes offer. Whether it is a sophisticated 25th-anniversary celebration or a fun Sweet 16, my focus is on the details. I use a palette knife painting technique for abstract, vibrant flowers that look like a canvas, or hand-pipe intricate rosettes for a classic, lush look.
