About Featured
You might look at these cakes and wonder how they defy gravity. The secret is in the structural engineering. Whether I am crafting a replica of an SUV or an anti-gravity whiskey bottle, I build custom internal armatures to keep everything stable. This ensures your cake looks exactly like the object it mimics, without ever compromising on the taste or texture of the vegetarian sponge.
How I Make the Impossible Edible
Turning a wild idea into a cake is my favorite challenge. It starts with a conversation about what you need—whether that is a replica of a car, a piece of corporate architecture, or a fun character theme. Once we lock in the design, I get to work in my Kharghar studio.
Everything you see here is 100% vegetarian. That includes the fondant detailing and the modeling chocolate used for those hyper-realistic finishes.
My Process:
- Planning: For complex shapes like cars or buildings, I plan the internal support structure first. This allows me to carve the cake into the exact shape you want while keeping it safe for transport and display.
- Sculpting: I use dense chocolate or vanilla pound cake as a base for these 3D projects. This gives me the canvas I need to carve features like a car's grille, a building's dome, or the specific shape of a whiskey bottle.
- Detailing: This is where the magic happens. I use texture mats for things like tire treads or leather, and airbrushing for those subtle shadows that make a cake look like an object rather than food.
I have created everything from an edible replica of the NMMC building to a bowl of noodles that looks so real, people hesitate to take a bite. If you have an idea that seems a bit crazy, bring it to me. I love creating centerpieces that become the main topic of conversation at your party.
