Welcoming a new family member is chaotic, noisy, and beautiful. I help you pause that energy with portraits that capture the real, messy, love-filled moments of your first days together.

A quiet, intimate portrait of new parents admiring their baby. I use simple, dark backdrops for family photos to keep the focus entirely on your family's connection.

A tender moment as a big brother leans in to kiss his newborn sibling. I always take the time to make older siblings feel comfortable and included in the newborn photoshoot.

The whole family is here. This portrait includes the new parents, a proud grandmother holding the newborn, and their two beloved dogs, a Golden Retriever and a Shih Tzu.

A creative overhead shot capturing a mother's love for her twin newborn girls. These types of poses are a beautiful way to document the unique bond with multiples.

A mother's embrace, holding her newborn while her son gives her a sweet kiss on the cheek. This is a classic, heartfelt family portrait that you will cherish forever.

A mother gently kisses her sleeping newborn's forehead. These close-up shots with parents highlight the tender, protective love of the first few weeks.

A formal family portrait with the parents dressed in elegant traditional wear, smiling down at their newborn. We can style your family session to match your vision.

A classic and casual family portrait with both parents in white, lovingly holding their baby. This timeless style creates bright, clean images focused on your family.

A happy family moment captured on a clean white background. The father kisses the mother's cheek as she holds their swaddled newborn, creating a relaxed and joyful portrait.

A simple and sweet portrait of a mother and her newborn. Dressed in matching denim, the mother cradles her baby, showcasing a quiet moment of connection.

About Our Family, Our Beginning

Getting a newborn, a toddler, and a pet to sit still for a portrait is a logistical challenge, which is why I never force rigid, formal poses. Instead, I focus on those candid moments of interaction—the way a sibling holds the baby or how you naturally look at them—because those are the connections you will actually want to remember.

Your Family, Your Pace

Family sessions are fundamentally different from solo newborn shoots. When we bring parents, siblings, and pets into the frame, the dynamic changes entirely. My approach at the HSR Layout studio is designed to accommodate this.

We don't operate on a strict clock. A family session, especially one involving a newborn and a pet, can take up to four hours. This time is built in to allow for feeding, soothing, and the inevitable breaks needed when working with tiny humans and furry companions. My goal isn't to get a perfect, stiff portrait; it's to get the authentic ones.

The Siblings & Pets Factor

Including older siblings and pets is where the magic often happens. I understand that a new baby can be overwhelming for a toddler, and I work with them to make them feel included rather than sidelined. For pets, I have experience managing them in a studio environment to get those 'whole crew' shots without compromising safety or comfort.

Why the Studio Matters

My 1200 sq ft studio in HSR Layout is set up specifically for these longer sessions. It includes a private, cozy area for feeding and changing, so you never feel rushed. Whether you want high-key lighting for a clean, bright look or a moodier setup for an intimate feel, we can tailor the background and props to match your vision. We handle the technical side—lighting, posing, and the props—so you can focus on simply being with your family.

I’m the one behind the camera at Baby Concept Captures. After six years in Bangalore, I’ve learned that the most honest family portraits happen when we stop trying to be perfect and start focusing on the actual connection between you, your new baby, and the rest of the crew.
