Outdoor Maternity Photoshoots in Bangalore

Choosing an outdoor shoot means embracing the elements, and I always keep a backup plan ready for Bangalore’s unpredictable weather. We typically schedule these sessions during the golden hour to catch that soft, natural glow, so be prepared for a slightly earlier start or a late afternoon session in the park.

While my HSR Layout studio is great for controlled lighting, there is something special about the energy of an outdoor shoot. My Signature Indoor & Outdoor Combo package is designed for those who want the best of both worlds. We start with the comfort of the studio for a few classic looks, then head out to nearby green spaces for a more relaxed, candid feel.

What to expect outdoors

We don't just stand in a park and click photos. I bring props—like my lace teepees, floral setups, or rustic boards—to give the shoot structure and a bit of 'wow' factor. Whether you want a bohemian look or something simple and elegant, we can adapt the setup to the location.

Logistics and styling

• Gowns: You do not need to buy outfits. I have a collection of maternity gowns that flow beautifully in the wind and look great against natural backgrounds.
• Pets & Family: If you want to include your partner, kids, or pets, please bring them along. Yes, pets can be chaotic in an open park, but I have plenty of experience managing them to get those genuine, joyful shots.
• Timing: I prefer shooting during the golden hour (just after sunrise or before sunset). The light is softer, which is much more flattering for pregnancy portraits.

Because these sessions are held in public or semi-public spaces, we will need to discuss specific location permits if you have a private park in mind. If you are worried about the 'what ifs'—like rain or a grumpy toddler—know that I have been doing this for over six years. We will adapt, keep the vibe light, and make sure we walk away with images you actually love.
