About The Signature Stain
To get that deep, dark maroon stain, do not just rely on the paste. The real secret is the 48-hour development window. I always apply a lemon-sugar sealant, but the magic happens when you keep the mehendi warm and avoid water for the first 24 hours after removal. If you are booking me, I will walk you through the full aftercare routine because for me, 'stain pics miss karna meri dictionary mein nahi hai!'
Why My Stain Stays Dark
I do not use harsh chemicals to get that rich colour. My organic henna is mixed 24-48 hours before your event to ensure the dye release is perfectly timed. When you book any of my bridal packages, whether it is the Classic Traditional or the Premium Storytelling, the aftercare is included. I do not leave until you understand the simple steps to darken that stain.
The Aftercare Routine
- Keep it warm: After the henna dries, avoid cold drafts.
- The Sealant: I apply a lemon-sugar sealant before leaving. Keep this on for at least 6-8 hours, or overnight if you can manage.
- Dry Removal: Scrape it off—never wash it off with water. Use a butter knife or just rub it with your palms.
- Stay Dry: Keep the area away from water for the first 24 hours. The oxidation process needs that dry window to reach the deep maroon shade.
My Philosophy
I believe that the final stain is the ultimate proof of a job well done. Whether I am doing a simple motif design or a full-blown love story narrative with city skylines and portraits, the quality of the henna remains the same. I travel across the Mumbai Metropolitan Area with my fresh batches, ensuring the same quality in Ghatkopar, Mulund, or Ville Parle. If you want a design that does not just look good on the day of the wedding but stays gorgeous for your reception and beyond, let us talk.
Ayushi Joshi
I am Ayushi. I live for mehendi and I am usually on the move, travelling from Ghatkopar to wherever the next bride needs me. For me, the art is only complete once I see that perfect dark stain—it is the final chapter of your wedding story.
